Formats built around how teams actually learn dashboard design

The core program is a structured six-week cohort. Around it sit a few smaller formats for teams that need something narrower: a single clinic, a set of templates, or a private workshop.

Live Dashboard Clinics

A focused ninety-minute session where a small group brings one real dashboard each for structured critique against the decision-first framework.

Template Library

A set of dashboard layout templates covering common marketing scenarios, provided as structural starting points rather than finished, one-size-fits-all reports.

Team Workshops

For organizations that want the framework applied directly to their own reporting stack. A facilitator works with the internal team over one or two sessions, using the team's actual dashboards and data definitions as the working material instead of generic examples.

Office Hours

Open sessions for enrolled participants to ask questions about their own in-progress dashboard revisions between scheduled modules.

Completion Summary

Participants who complete the cohort receive a written summary of modules attended and work submitted, useful for internal training records.

How a session actually looks

Working sessions, not lecture slides

Most modules open with a real example: a screenshot of a reporting dashboard that technically works but fails to point anyone toward a decision. The group discusses what's missing before any framework language is introduced.

From there, the instructor rebuilds the example live, narrating each structural choice. Why this metric moved to the top. Why three charts were merged into one. Why an annotation was added instead of another number.

The remainder of the session is spent applying the same logic to a dashboard a participant brought from their own work, with the group offering structured feedback rather than open-ended opinions.

Common questions

Before you choose a format

Do I need a specific tool to take the course?

No. The framework applies regardless of the reporting platform your team uses. Tooling walkthroughs cover general logic that transfers across common platforms.

Is this suitable for a team of two, or only large teams?

The framework scales down as easily as it scales up. Several participants each cohort work in small marketing teams handling reporting alone.

Can a workshop be run privately for our team only?

Yes, the Team Workshop format is designed for exactly that, structured around your own dashboards rather than generic material.

What happens after the cohort ends?

Participants keep access to the template library and recorded sessions, and can join Office Hours for a limited period afterward.
